Infor's enterprise asset management (EAM) systems for manufacturers have been catapulted into the leaders section in Gartner's Magic Quadrant report.
The analyst's report, which assesses EAM vendors according to their ability to execute and completeness of vision, recognises Infor as having a global presence, a large installed base in manufacturing and strong viability.
Placement in the leaders quadrant also required demonstration of a combination of rich functionality, interfaces to many different ERP and supporting EAM applications, and a capable and global implementation partner community.
"Faced with unprecedented economic challenges, manufacturers can use effective asset management to reduce costs without sacrificing quality and safety to remain viable and competitive," comments John Murphy, director, EAM solution marketing, Infor.
"I believe that Infor has been categorised in the leaders quadrant because our manufacturing customers receive great value from our solutions, such as maintaining efficient equipment, decreasing expensive downtime, recovering maximum warranty funding, and reducing operating and maintenance costs."
