Infor launches mobile apps for asset management

Kevin Price, director of EAM at Infor, says that, now, manufacturers already using Infor EAM software can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of mobile staff, who will be able to access accurate, real-time information. For him, it's about extending Infor EAM for field service workers and technicians working remotely. Infor EAM Mobile can be implemented out of the box, he says, or configured to meet a user's requirements, with access via an Infor handheld device or a range of third-party hardware. "Infor recognises the need for increased speed and visibility into all parts of an organisation to eliminate hidden costs and run more efficiently," comments Price. "Our EAM Mobile application takes critical tools directly to the workforce and strengthens the communications link between the field and the office on all aspects of asset management, supporting more confident decision-making and productivity."
