Jet Plastica Selects IBM to Implement ERP Solution

Jet Plastica CFO Matt Rieker explains that the company wanted a solution and a partner to support aggressive modernisation goals with go-live in July, just four months after project signing. "The Infor ERP LN solution, delivered by IBM's services team, meets our objective of implementing an innovative technology solution in a timeframe that allows us to realise cost efficiencies this year," he says. Those efficiencies, he says, will result from better visibility into Jet Plastica's operations, with a new focus on improved inventory management, on-time fulfilment and productivity. "After an intensive study of their business processes, we determined that the ability for greater visibility in the supply chain and increased flexibility in manufacturing to drive lower costs would be the best solution for Jet Plastica," explains Russell Schoneberger, business solution executive, IBM Global Business Services. "By selecting IBM, Jet Plastica will be provided with deep business insight and smarter solutions, so that they can gain better operational visibility for a competitive advantage."
