Suffolk-based fibre optic and micro-duct manufacturer m2fx is reporting doubled revenues in 18 months, since installing QAD On Demand cloud ERP software.
"In 2011, we sought an ERP solution to support the company's aggressive growth without taxing the budget and IT resources," comments Tom Carpenter, CEO of m2fx.
"QAD On Demand stood out for its proven ERP functionality [and] has allowed us to focus on growing our business, not the software," he adds.
Carpenter also says that QAD On Demand has mitigated many of the IT and financial risks associated with any new ERP implementation. And he makes the point that all of the systems and infrastructure are managed by QAD in a secure and industry compliant data centre.
"With QAD, we've benefited from a level of ERP functionality typically enjoyed by much larger companies, yet affordable and adaptable enough to support the company as it continues to expand," he says.
As for business improvements, Carpenter says that QAD On Demand has played a major part in pushing on-time delivery stats above 95%, reducing material shortages and enabling real-time visibility of business data.
He also says that business data accessibility has been significantly improved, with "clear visibility into margin drivers so they can be proactively managed".
