Matrici, the Basque subsidiary of automotive stamping dies manufacturer Mondragón Corporación Cooperativa, says it expects to streamline business processes and improve project control when it goes live with Infor ERP LN.
The project, which involves upgrading from MCC's legacy Baan IV solution, is being managed by Infor partner Semantic Systems, which says it will implement modules for finance, distribution, logistics, production, after-sales service, and project management.
Imanol Saitua, head of R&D at Matrici, says the firm needs to improve the efficiency of processes including raw material sourcing, outsourced component manufacture, manufacturing management and financial forecasting.
"Our main objective is to achieve greater control of the various projects, as well as to assess the relative productivity of each project during the planning process," he says. "Overall, ERP LN is the best suited solution for our business model and to meet our objectives."
