Mobile applications for SAP Business One now up for iPhone

SAP Business One users wanting to up the ante on mobile applications can now enable managers' iPhones for real-time connection to their systems.
Manufacturers with a professional user license of SAP Business One 8.8 patch level 12 or higher can just go to the Apple iTunes Store and get the software free, as part of their maintenance contract.
The application then allows users to check on inventory and customers, access reports, receive alerts and process approvals.
SAP says that users can expect real-time access to data and will find it easy to navigate, respond to and trigger remote processes.
Mike Nielsen, CEO of Coolshop.dk, which distributes interactive entertainment products across Scandinavia, is an early user and reports: "The application speed is remarkable, allowing us to quickly access customer info from our 500,000 customer data base and get instant updates and alerts directly from SAP Business One.
