New ERP system takes ‘headaches away from modern manufacturing’

A new ERP system has been launched, specifically for manufacturing SMEs, to provide them with absolute certainty over their ability to meet project delivery deadlines.

KYLIE is an ERP solution designed by manufacturers for manufacturers to enable companies to eliminate all their redundant processes and systems, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

It can interface seamlessly with other software applications like SAGE, meaning that existing processes, such as payroll or purchase ordering, can easily be integrated.

The Windows-based software works with existing systems so that no additional data entry or documentation is required. It can also be implemented gradually and one process at a time.

Operations director Steve Adams, who originally had KYLIE designed as an ERP solution for his own business, Hutchinson Engineering, said: “KYLIE is about taking the headaches away from modern manufacturing. It means you can have a complete picture of your business at any time and you can answer any query on the progress of a particular project at any point, with absolute certainty as nothing is left to chance.

“From purchasing, procurement and production, to order status, work capacity and overtime, you can make critical business decisions based on the real time information you have at your fingertips.”

He continued: “KYLIE is also a huge help when it comes to compliance, with traceability of materials and certification requirements and fulfilment being easy to track. This makes customer auditing very straightforward. It also benefits the work environment by helping break down the occasional ‘silo’ mentality that can arise between different departments as information is easily accessible."
