Teaching and presentation equipment firm TeacherBoards says it expects to operate with dramatically reduced lead-times when it goes live with a Syspro 6.0 ERP system, while also increasing revenues and customer service.
The system is being implemented by McGuffie Brunton, and will give TeacherBoards integrated CRM (customer relationship management), manufacturing, distribution and financials. Go live is due in January.
TeacherBoards managing director Scott Grant says: “Aside from administration time-savings we expect to generate, the key driver for us is the ability to operate in a leaner, more efficient environment where every department can understand and manage the impact of their actions upon others. This will improve both our sales and profitability.”
TeacherBoards also intends to use the Syspro system to improve production planning and management of its supply base, which extends overseas.
