Norbert Dentressangle seals a deal

Part of the Dixon International Group, Sealmaster produces seals for doors, windows and showers at its manufacturing centre near Cambridge - products, that are used in a wide range of buildings such as Sheffield Hallam University (pictured). Dissatisfied with the distribution service it was receiving, the company turned to Norbert Dentressangle to provide a flexible next-day delivery service via its in-house shared-user pallet network. The supply chain specialist collects products from Sealmaster's manufacturing facility, processes and consolidates orders, and trunks them overnight to regional depots for final delivery. Customers include market leading companies Timbmet Door Solutions Limited (TDSL) and the worldwide Abesco group. David Allen, warehouse manager at Sealmaster, explained: "We required a flexible service that could monitor orders and make deliveries in line with the demand for our products. Norbert Dentressangle has the expertise to meet our customers' expectations and a well established pallet network that is helping to significantly reduce our supply chain costs."
