Fluid and motion control equipment manufacturer Norgren says its Digimind system is enabling efficient distribution of competitor information across the company.
Pamela Germaney, European pricing director at Norgren, explains that the organisation is using Digimind dashboards to analyse competitor activity and identify opportunities that are not easily detected, using traditional data collection methods.
Digimind's data collection and analysis functionality has already enabled Norgren to more efficiently manage the intelligence worfklow, she says – eliminating information gaps and assisting with strategic decision making.
"Digimind has enabled us to reduce the burden of data collection and information management by providing the ability to manage multiple data streams in one single, flexible and easily accessible platform," explains Germaney.
"We wanted one central repository that would store up-to-date information about product and technical developments for our sales, product marketing, regional marketing and technical teams," she continues.
"We have already achieved significant savings in areas such as direct marketing and business development, which is responsible for tracking competitors."
