Drilling and oil well services firm Seawell says it is expanding IFS into engineering, project management, job setting, material management, financials and HR.
The project extension follows successful implementation of IFS Applications for purchasing, logistics and maintenance, and will bring the total number of IFS Applications users to 2,500.
"IFS has shown through the evaluation workshops that IFS Applications for EPCI contractors supports Seawell processes and that it has the best competence to help Seawell implement industry best practice," says Seawell CFO Lars Berthuelsen.
Seawell's engineering division covers procurement, construction, installation and commissioning for modification and upgrade projects on drilling facilities and fixed platforms, as well as technical support for mobile drilling units.
