Refreshing the parts other IT vendors cannot reach

HP has been awarded a seven-year, global services contract by Heineken in the Netherlands for all user workstations, using its Adaptive Infrastructure approach.

The deal covers help desk and desk-side support, desktop lifecycle services and mobility services – as well as print management, infrastructure management and LAN operations. It’s an expansion of Heineken’s long-term relationship with HP. The company says that HP’s ability to implement and service systems worldwide, as well as its collaborative and innovative approach, won it the business. Says Eric Grall, vice president and general manager, Outsourcing Services for HP: “HP’s End-User Workplace Solutions are key to our Adaptive Infrastructure and provide standardised, centralised end-user environments that we expect will enable greater efficiencies and lower their overall cost structure.”
