SAP has released what it describes as significant enhancements to its SAP Business One ISV (independent software vendor) certification programme aimed at improving its offerings to manufacturing SMEs.
The software giant reports 20 newly certified solutions, better tools to ease certification and more partner benefits to encourage adoption.
It cites ISVs like CitiXSys Technologies, Computer Decisions International and IronWare Technologies as using the improvements to develop and integrate certified new add-ons specifically to meet smaller business requirements.
“Our ISV partners consistently keep their finger on the pulse of today’s small and midsize businesses, allowing them to identify vital business issues and create tools that effectively address changing business demands,” says Glen Doody, vice president, channel enablement, SAP.
“The SAP Business One certification program allows these partners to streamline development costs and leverage SAP’s technology to deliver advanced capabilities and greater value to a wider swath of customers around the world,” he adds.
Examples include: OneEnterprise Portals from CitiXsys with a self-service gateway for critical data; RFIDs from IronWare for warehouse management; a new forecasting and inventory optimisation suite from Valogix; BatchMaster Enterprise from BatchMaster Software for manufacturing financials; and Document Management and Archiving from Novaline.
SAP claims more than 330 such add-ons all now certified with its ISVs in accordance with SAP’s integration standards.
