SAP today (23 February 2011) unveiled five new implementation partners in the UK for its SAP Business ByDesign on-demand ERP software.
They are WNL, Business by the Cloud, itelligence, G3 Global and Broadgate Infonet. Apart from deploying the solution, SAP says these partners will "expand the reach and scope" of SAP Business ByDesign by selling and positioning it.
"The partner channel is a fundamental part of our SME strategy, and introducing partners for SAP Business ByDesign is key," says Ian Anstey, head of SAP Business ByDesign, SAP UK.
"Customers are looking for faster time to value, easy deployment and flexible purchasing options. SAP and our partners offer all of these things. To ensure their success, SAP will equip our partners with the tools and opportunities they need to ensure success," he adds.
Justin Brading, managing director of SAP industry reseller Chelford SAP Solutions and itelligence UK, says it's all about the anticipated take-up of cloud-based services.
"An ever increasing number of SMEs are looking to cloud solutions to manage their business, because they provide quick time to value with lower up-front investments," explains Brading.
"So it's a really exciting time for us to partner with SAP for this solution. We have a valuable, long term relationship with SAP already, and we expect this agreement to further strengthen it," he continues.
As for the rest: WNL is Netsuite's largest partner in the UK and has a successful track record in the SaaS based ERP business; Business by the Cloud is a division of Edson Consulting (an existing SAP ecosystem partner); itelligence is SAP's largest SME partner and says it will focus on discrete and component manufacturing; G3 is an existing SAP Business All-in-One FastStart partner; and Broadgate Infonet is an existing Gold SAP Business One partner.
