Real-time production management systems developer Seiki Systems says it has seen a record set of sales figures for Q1 2012 (April – June 2012).
Despite the uncertainty in the manufacturing software sector, Seiki Systems has seen software sales rise by 54% on the same period in 2011.
Paul Lane, sales director for Seiki Systems, believes that the growth demonstrates not only a growing interest in fully integrated 'top floor to shop floor' systems, but also reflects a demand from manufacturing organisations to get more from their existing resources.
"Over the past few years, Seiki has intentionally focused on repositioning its portfolio towards a fuller manufacturing operations management and production control solution, directly linking the top floor to the shop floor," explains Smith.
"This, combined with the expansion of our development and engineering teams, means we are now also able to offer more flexible and strategic solutions, extending the suitability of our products to manufacturing organisations of all sizes," he adds.
