In a bid to improve sales and customer information and improve business reporting and visibility, Shropshire-based shower tray manufacturer, Coram Showers has selected mid-market enterprise software author, Exel Computer Systems’ ERP software, Efacs for its headquarters in Bridgenorth.
After visiting last year’s Computers in Manufacturing Show at the NEC, Coram narrowed its original shortlist of 12 software suppliers down to five, Exel eventually securing the contract after detailed software demonstrations from all five vendors.
Ian Spittle, systems manager at Coram, commented: “We are presently inputting data, testing and undergoing training, including workshops and expect to go live by September... All our functional heads and sales managers have attended intensive training sessions.”
Coram has an annual turnover of £10 million and employs 100 staff.
