Sustainability dashboard to direct manufacturers’ green initiatives
Manufacturing ERP and supply chain systems conglomerate Infor says its new Green Assessment tool is aimed at helping users with comparative analysis and benchmarking of their sustainability efforts.
Andrew Kinder, director of solutions marketing at Infor, says that businesses wanting to reduce energy cost and emissions will benefit from the quick online assessment, which provides a good initial overview.
“Resource sustainability and environmental protection are becoming increasingly important competitive factors in global business,” says Kinder. “Instead of just talking about green, Infor provides hands-on assistance and proven, best-in-class solutions.”
In fact, the tool consists of 20 multiple choice questions, feeding input into Infor’s four quadrants of global asset sustainability, supply chain, product/service development and organisational readiness. It provides a radar chart of current sustainability status, compared to an average of other participating organisations.
