Fluid equipment giant Swagelok has chosen SAP to spearhead a transformation that it says will lead to increased efficiencies in business processes as well as improved collaboration with customers and suppliers.
As part of its strategic growth plan, Swagelok will replace its business systems with SAP ERP, integrating and optimising its financial, HR, supply chain, manufacturing and distribution systems in a real-time environment.
Arthur Anton, president and CEO of Swagelok, states that the transition to an enterprise system better positions the group to respond rapidly to the changing needs of its global customer base.
"After months of careful consideration, we have secured the next-generation ERP platform best suited to meet the needs of our global business and customers for the next 10 to 15 years," he says.
"The new relationship between Swagelok and SAP is founded on our shared values and dedication to excellence. Both organisations have an intense focus on the customer and a commitment to teamwork."
