Hydronics equipment manufacturer TA Hydronics is to extend its IFS Applications ERP implementation to streamline manufacturing and sales at its corporate and subsidiary operations.
The deal, worth more than Skr 10 million, includes licenses and services, and Gunilla Andersson, CFO at TA Hydronics, says it will secure support for multi-site planning, contract manufacturing and warehouse management, so enabling the firm to consolidate large parts of its business.
The company, which is part of the UK-based IMI Group, already uses IFS Applications for manufacturing, warehousing and sales management, but will now extend the system across Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.
"We selected IFS Applications as our corporate ERP system to standardise business processes among our subsidiaries," states Andersson. "IFS Applications meets our needs for a group-wide ERP solution and offers us a platform for the company's future growth," she adds.
She explains that IFS Applications will improve support for the group by centralising business processes into one database, by optimising production resources and providing efficient manufacturing processes for the company's subsidiary contract manufacturers.
