Visteon extends Pro/Engineer with Mathcad for engineering calcs
Automotive supply giant Visteon is now using Mathcad to create and document engineering calculations and mathematical models for automotive electronics.

Pro/Engineer with Mathcad will enable Visteon to streamline its engineering calculations.
On the one hand, users can develop mathematical models to verify that their designs meet customer requirements over varying production and environmental conditions. On the other, its re-usable Mathcad worksheets can communicate analysis results to other parties throughout the design process, as well as forming the starting point for similar designs.
