Warema shines on better process optimisation

With 600 seats in total, this will make the company one of the largest Infor ERP COM users worldwide, and the contract is due to run until the end of 2013. Warema has been working with Infor ERP COM since January 2004, running various manufacturing approaches, including custom batch production as well as project-based industrial equipment and machinery production. Warema Kunststofftechnik and Maschinenbau GmbH, the company’s plastics and machinery business unit, was the first to deploy the solution, effectively piloting for future roll-outs to other subsidiaries. The company now expects to benefit from more accurate estimates, quoting and contracts, as well as greater visibility throughout mix-mode operations, resulting in better cost control, faster response to customers and added revenue opportunities. “In Infor, we found a partner who really understands our business,” says Thomas Barthold, IT manager at Warema. “At the same time, Infor has the scale and the outreach of a global software provider so we can be sure long-term support is guaranteed.”
