Infor acquires ENXSuite for sustainability offerings
Manufacturing business software giant Infor has acquired the ENXSuite product line to complement its Infor10 EAM (enterprise asset management) software, which handles plant maintenance.
Infor makes the point that the ENXSuite software does for manufacturing facilities' energy management what Infor 10 EAM does for asset management.
In fact, ENXSuite is a cloud-based energy performance management platform that provides so-called 'energy intelligence' to help companies plan and manage energy sustainability.
Infor suggests that the unified view of energy sources provided by coupling ENXSuite and Infor10 EAM will help manufacturers to determine the causes of energy waste and cost.
