Brunel Healthcare Manufacturing is to replace its existing fragmented software systems with Solarsoft Business Systems ERP to support its five-year sustainable growth plan.
The company says that its new Tropos installation, which is being rolled out at the Derbyshire site, will help to fulfil key objectives of improved scheduling and efficiency by giving all users a single view of current and planned production.
Brunel Healthcare, which produces vitamins, minerals, food supplements and herbal products, says it evaluated 15 ERP vendors before selecting Solarsoft's process-industry-centric Tropos software.
"We were very impressed with Solarsoft's commitment to demonstrating how the Tropos system would support us in achieving the strict targets set by our accelerated growth plan," comments John Hackett, managing director at Brunel Healthcare.
"We needed a system that will ensure optimum efficiency in production with a clear reporting and traceability function," he explains.
"Of all the vendors we met, it was the Solarsoft team that demonstrated a deep understanding of our business and, for us, that was a big differentiator."
Brunel Healthcare operates in a regulated industry, so production efficiency and accuracy, but also speed of response to industry audit requirements, as well as precise reporting, are critical.
