Herbs and spices manufacturer Fiddes Payne is reporting £500,000 savings in stock holdings, since going live with a Syspro ERP system, from K3, last summer.
The company, which supplies Jamie Oliver, Disney, Mr Men and other branded baking products and condiments, says that the level of return on investment has been dramatic.
Hazel Barton, financial controller at Fiddes Payne, explains that K3's ERP system was commissioned in June 2010, replacing legacy systems in a bid to improve efficiencies and remove duplicated data entry.
The goal, she says, was to integrate manufacturing, accounting and distribution operations, so leading to greater visibility across the business and also better stock control.
"The new ERP system is already bringing much greater levels of visibility and stock control, which has also improved our procurement operation," says Barton.
"For our customers, it will enhance our service levels and overall satisfaction with more accurate and timely billing," she adds.
