Global engineering and construction group Kentz is to implement a new CRM solution based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, SharePoint and Microsoft business analytics software.
Eddie Lewis, Kentz's group development officer, says that Maxima's specialist industry version will be rolled out worldwide, providing the firm with business development, project tracking and knowledge management capabilities in all territories.
"Kentz works across 28 countries, and we're increasingly engaged in extending our geographic reach in our core markets of oil and gas, petrochemicals, metals and mining and resources," explains Lewis.
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides us with an integrated and flexible platform based on familiar Microsoft technologies and helps us to track all our projects, regardless of their complexity, and to maintain our high-quality of service and business relationships," he adds.
Maxima's role includes helping toi get Kentz initial CRM project prototyping and testing up and running quickly – including deploying the new Microsoft solution using SaaS (software as a service) delivery in the cloud.
Lewis believes the outcome will be a secure, reliable and flexible platform on which to drive the project's first pilot stages, prior to deploying the production solution on-premise.
