Linemaster Switch turns to Infor for manufacturing ERP

Joe Carlone, vice president of sales and marketing at Linemaster Switch, explains that ERP SyteLine enables a seamless flow of information across all areas of the organisation, so that changes made in one department will be reflected throughout the business. That, he believes, will enable the firm to respond rapidly, for example, to changes from customers and suppliers. "We involved all departments in our search for a new ERP system so that we could be sure our system would work within our existing structure to improve our operations, without forcing us to retool our processes for the system," comments Carlone. "SyteLine was the right fit for us, because it has built-in best practices, but is also flexible enough to adapt to the existing processes that work for us," he adds. He also cites SyteLine's ability to receive seamless upgrades and updates through Infor's .net framework as "critical". Merittech, an Infor partner, helped Linemaster Switch identify ERP SyteLine as the solution to address its business challenges.
