Solarsoft launches workflow manager for Tropos process ERP
Tropos ERP software now has business process management functionality, meaning fully integrated workflow for this long-lived process-centric system.
The software, formerly owned and developed by SSI but since last year under the direction of Solarsoft, is aimed at process-orientated manufacturers, particularly the food and drink industry.
Given that process manufactures are under pressure to respond to quicker delivery lead times, reduce costs and improve efficiencies, this alerts-based introduction will be welcomed as practical automation for both events and opportunities.
In brief detail, Solarsoft Business Process Manager is a graphical workflow tool designed to enable the creation, execution and maintenance of automated processes within but also outside the direct Tropos ERP software environment.
It also covers document automation and web content publishing, as well as information request handling – so automating receiving and processing of requests such as credit status enquiries.
