Taylor Guitars tunes up for Syspro ERP go-live

So says Taylor IS director Matt Major, who explains that the company has been strung up with multiple systems that were not fully integrated. "We realised that the only way to have the functionality we require as we continue to innovate and evolve was to implement an enterprise-wide solution as a foundation for our future," says Major. Choosing Syspro, he says, was about the ability to mould a software solution from more than 40 integrated modules – as well as Syspro's e.net solutions that integrate external business processes. For example, the new system, with its product configurator software, means a more accessible approach to Taylor's build-to-order, custom acoustic and electric guitar programme, which plucks from 40 categories containing virtually unlimited combinations. Says Major: "Syspro's technology, award winning STARS [Structured Technique to Achieve a Rapid Solution] implementation methodology and approach to software design were exactly what we were looking for… We will continue to develop custom software going forward and utilise Syspro as a foundation and framework."
